How we design your closet

The design of your closet will be based on your personal items. We will start by taking an inventory of all you wish to store in your closet. It is essential to do this as we all prefer varying items. One of us may own a lot of purses, the next may own a lot of ties.

How we choose inventory

The inventory will begin by the donating and disposing of unwanted items. Aside from personal items we will also make a list of features you wish to add to the closet such as a mirror, a bench or an ironing board. We will then decide how to store all the belongings. This could include short and tall hanging spaces, drawers, bins and open shelving. If the closet is to accommodate a couple we will decide how to split the space.

How we choose closet Lighting

Closet lighting should be bright to show colors and details. This is one space where natural light is nice but windows should be placed such that you are not using storage space, clothes will not fade and won’t affect privacy.

All storage should be planned according to your height for easy reach and in a way that’s practical for you to return items to their intended spot at the end of the day. Lesser used or seasonal items should be placed high or low to the ground as opposed to the more used ones at eye level.

Our goal is to leave you with an organized closet that tailors to your belongings. A closet that is appeasing to the eye like a department store but also highly functional.
